Description | "Child's dish representing sea lion". Bowl oblong-oval; hollow. Details of animal carved and/or painted white, black and red. Semi-realistic, with conventional joints painted on flippers. Teeth carved. Black eyebrows. Front flippers, with long fingers, flat to sides. Hind flippers meet behind fat, white tail. Small dashes of black, red and white decorate head and body. Scallop design in black on rim of bowl. |
