The Katsina's round face is painted with a red circle below each rectangular eye. Red and green rays radiate down from around the mouth. An elaborate, tableta headdress is painted around the head. The edge is painted with red and green ticks bordered by solid, black lines, then wrapped with yucca. The design is duplicated on the reverse but the eyes are omitted. |
