Description

"Beheading knife." Iron blade, the sharp outer edge slightly curved and extended into a large, vertical, crescent blade; the inner edge below the crescent consists of one small and two large concave sections. Deeply notched decoration on both faces. The wooden grip is cut to form two carinated balls and a small pommel and is ornamented with brass-headed nails. Junction of grip and blade wrapped with narrow strip of iron.
