Description

Rounded diamond-shaped fan of woven pandanus leaf, bundled together at bottom to form handle. Separately constructed ornamental zig-zag border (some missing), of pandanus and black hibiscus fiber. Handle, which may originally have been covered with an ornamental pandanus and hibiscus sheath (see 29-28-4) now held together with twisted fiber string. Similar to 29-28-4 and L-120-490.
