Pasted layers of bark cloth (Kaeppler). Blocks of black and brown color. Oiled. Made of paper mulberry (Broussonetia sp.). Sleeping tapa (kapa moe). Acquired during the United States Exploring Expedition (1838-1842) by Titian R. Peale. “Tapa bed curtain, made of bark.” on Peale list.
