Description

Iron blade, the sides parallel for most of their length, then rounded to point; slight medial ridge on each face; band composed of alternate incised arcs and double punctates on each face near the wide, flat "stem" which has raised edges and horizontal barbs at its base. Cylindrical wooden grip with short straight guard from which a tongue extends the length of the "stem" on each face.
