Description | A) Satyr, bearded, seated on an altar, facing left. He holds a beady thyrsus upright in his left hand. In his right hand he holds, between thumb and index finger, a small circular object. He wears a wreath and a bandolier. B) Youth standing, fully clothed, facing left. A border decorated with tear shaped dots above and below on garment. He wears a headband. Beneath each handle is a large palmette. Tongue pattern on shoulder. On neck, A and B, a palmette. Intact. On underside of foot, in ink: 2032B. |
