| Description | Very long metal blade with medial ridge on both sides and with hollow haft into which is inserted a wooden foreshaft. The shaft is of metal pointed at the butt, square in section and expanding into a hollow into which the foreshaft fits. Wire binding at end of blade and at end of square part of shaft. |
