Description | Small bulb shaped basket with a short neck made out of bamboo (ไม้ไผ่บาน) and rattan (หวาย). Used to hold caught fish and frogs. There is a string looped around two eyelets so it can be tied around the waist. Can also be used to store dried items, beans, peppers, etc. over the fire so the smoke prevents insect damage and keeps them away from mice. Has attached inner cone that fits into the mouth. |
