Description | Wooden. Elliptical in form. At one end the head of what may be a tortoise, at the other a triangular tail. From the back of the head a short spike runs back into the hollow of the saucer, and on the rim there are two pointed continuations of the carving of the back of the head. Cf. the 3-spiked heads of Nos. 29-50-340, 29-50-345, etc. |
