Description

Single-edged, iron blade, slightly curved, tapering to point; slight engraved scroll decoration on both faces. Tang inserted in two-piece ivory grip with numerous gilt studs (some missing) a narrow band on about 2/5 of the back of the blade and a strip joining to two pieces of ivory and extending over top of grip of gilded metal with relief decoration in conventionalized floral pattern.
