Description | Pot without handles with encircling band of raised ornamentation on shoulder, globular body, bulging neck Narrow-necked jar/bottle with a globular body, flaring neck, rounded rim, no handles, and a rounded base. No molded/modeled additions. The vessel has a band of mold-formed design in relief around the body. The vessel has a band of raised dot and line decoration around the shoulder and is painted red. There appears to be a smoothed finish on the exterior. The vessel was likely fired in an oxidizing atmosphere as the ceramic paste is orange in color. Fireclouding is present on the base.
