Description | UE III: pictographic inscription in two registers. the upper may tentatively be read: mes-ud-en-lil utul (?): the shepherd; and the second beginning with the star and club: ruler of Ur, Adab, Larsa, and Kesh. Clay sealing. Baked and shellacked post-excavation. Fragment impressed with finely drawn linear design which contains possible hieroglyphis elements. |
