Description

The Clah Family Tapestry, representing sand-painting. Two rows of yei figures, seven in each row. Each yei figure is approximately 67 cm long. Figure of Rainbow God runs around 3 sides of rug as border (red and blue). Fourth side of border is a blue and yellow line. One row ofyei figures has six figures with round heads and blue faces, and one "lead" figure with round head and white face. Lead figure with white face is wearing a red and white feather headdress. Second row of yei figures has six figures with square heads and blue faces, and one lead figure with round head and blue face. Background color is brown, with designs done in blue, red, white, yellow, and black. Rainbow God has a square head and blue face. There is a black and yellow horizontal line underneath the row of yei figures with the round heads.
