Description | Shoulder fragment of a closed vessel. hard, buff, clay. Interior unglazed. Cream colored slip. Decoration in black glaze. Bottom to top: 10 wheel painted ilnes; zone of short, diagonal strokes; 2 wheel painted lines; zone of tongue pattern incised through black glaze. Of the 9 tongues preserved 6 are painted purple over black. |
