Description | Wooden handle and stone head. Large oblong pecked stone hammer head with signs of heavy battering on exposed end. It is hafted with stick bent U-shape around head and two ends lashed together; it is also lashed together with leather thongs immediately below head. Butt of head secured by plaited thong strap extending from one side of handle around butt to other side. |
