Description | Made from half a coconut with a quadrangular handle woven of heavy coconut fibre. Cf. Edge-Partington, Album !, pl. 119, fig. 9 and pl. 113, fig. 3 (wooden imitation of fibre handle, or vice versa). A drinking cup for kava (Fiji, yangona). Cf. 29-93-28 which is without handle. |
