Description

Ear plug ornaments (efo). Of tridacna shell. All these are heirlooms. Now decorated with imported glass beads and fruit bats' teeth (a form of currency). See Bernatzik, Owa Raha (1936), Abb. 55, 56. Given by More of Santa Catalina Is.
