Description | Large, bottom square, flat with pointed corners. side become round and are straight for better than half the basket then flare and become straight again; round. Stained oak. Technique: twilled plaiting in under 2 over 2 weave, splints becoming larger and weave looser toward top thus increasing size.; extra splints also added. Hoop attached on outside below flare; lighter hoops used around rim; broken in one place. |
