Description | Shape rather like fishing creel with front side piuching out, back side has an upward extension and a long handle for suspension. Bottom: oblong and slants upward into back side, pointed corners. Cane; twilled plaiting in over 4 under 4 weave. Strips intertwined on rim with a continuation of the winding around back side compressing and catching vertical splints. Decoration: below rim, bands- green then purple horizontal strips. On high back some strips reversed so shiny side faces in. Handle: loops of cane wound loosely with cane strip. |
