Description | Inscribed 2 handled coarse bowl ring foot, broadly open bowl, slightly outturned rim. A loop handle, circular in section, is set at right angles to wall just below lip on each side. Dark buff clay. Only one fragment, of rim and upper wall missing: restored in plaster. Two inscriptions impressed while clay was moist: one in two lines encircling foot on lower wall; the other in one line with a small part of a second encircling upper wall of interior. |
