Description

A small rectangular mat woven with dark brown, medium brown, yellow, and tan raphia in warp striped pattern; the stripes repeat in a yellow and tan raphia in a warp striped pattern; the stripes repeat in a yellow, tan, dark brown, medium brown order with medium brown and dark brown stripes by the selvedges; light brown raphia is sewn around the edges; twined raphia "yarn" is attached at one end.
