Description | Similar to MS4615.2 but fabric yellowish red (5 YR 5/8) with a paler surface. Added white: band on top of rim; crosshatched diagonal area. East Cretan White-on-dark Ware. Compare Hall 1904-05: pl. 29, no. 10 (Gournia). This motif was probably part of a connecting line like Bosanquet and Dawkins 1923: pl. 3i (Palaikastro). |
