Description

Bagobo man’s trousers called saroár. Gussets in four pieces at crotch. Plain weave of red cotton. Decorative applique band on hems of both pant legs with floss and ribbon embroidery, as well at beaded edging. Further bead embroidery above band on outer part of legs. Displayed at the Louisiana Purchase Exposition in St. Louis in 1904.
