Description
Base-sherd from an "in-and-out bowl." Fine, pink (7.5 YR 7/4) clay with a paler surface, decoration in reddish brown to brown paint and added white paint. Wiped with water and burnished. Floral motifs and bands on exterior. Chevrons and bands on exterior. Added white: bands on dark band at rim. Comments: LM IA. Similar to the interior design (though not exact parallels) are Hawes et al. 1908: fig. 21, probably LM IA (Gournia); Doumas 1976: fig. 1 (Akrotiri). For the in-and-out bowl see vol. I, no. 23.
