Description

Sections of wood fitted tightly together bound by an iron hoop, with a circular bottom piece. Red paint or caulk once covered parts of the bottom. The drum head is made of skin, stretched taut and bound to the drum by a second hoop of wood covered by red cloth and white yarn.
