Description

Curved iron blade tapering to point, double-edged for about half its length. Tang inserted through brass and silver covered section into wooden grip which is wide at its junction with the blade, but rectangular in section and very thin at the grip proper, and has flat, rounded end over which is a wide band, silver on face, brass on back; silver band around middle of grip. All silver covered with conventionalized floral decoration; the brass, with finely engraved zigzags.
