Description | Model of summer house; arched twigs lashed at crossings from frame which supports walls of woven reeds and a rod of pieced and stitched birch bark; struts of model anchored to plank of wood holes; interior floor lined with woven mat of vegetable fiber at each end; raised platform runs length of building; two notched poles are implanted in floor-across from entrance which is covered by woven reed flap; entire model braced with twine lashings; Russian label, bark fragments, jute twine loose interior. |
