Description | Pair of carved wooden skis (stained, painted) tapering to a point at each end; lined with pieced animal fur which folds onto top edge forming one half inch border; piece of birchbark rounded at front end and pointed at back attached to top center indicates foot placement; lashes of hide with wooden pegs are attached through two holes at center. |
