Description

Kotyle fragment. Hard, buff clay. Interior surface glazed. Exterior decorated in black and dilute glaze on cream colored slip. Head of panther (r.) features incised; neck painted purple over black. Part of blob (?) behind its neck; tail of preceding animal to right of the panther. Above, a wheel-painted band in red, bordered above by a dilute glaze line.
