Description | Ceremonial hanging of painted wax on cotton. Blue cotton painted with Hindu figures in panels and elaborate borders with fish and floral motifs. Hand-drawn resist-dyed cotton with applied adhesive overlaid with roghan mixed with metallic powders (such as ground mica or glitter). Has been patched with paper over it. The paper has stuck to the paint badly. |
