Description | Sommerville: Jasper-Onyx. Bacchanalian Figure, with a full cruche and an empty wine-skin. Gold Rings - Cameos, Case RRR. Vermeule: Onyx-Jasper. Cameo. (Modern gold ring (reset) Mount) A satyr walking unsteadily to left, he holds a Karanthos in right hand, a pedum in crock of left arm and a panther skin over same. Italian, probably 17th century. |
