Description | Painting. Sakyamuni Buddha with the two principal students, Sixteen Elders, Two Attendants and four Guardian Kings. Sakyamuni on a throne of glory, attended by two of his monk disciples, and two monk-musicians (intended to represent living people?) and the 18 luohans. In the upper corners the Buddhas of the past and future. Very interesting for its complete iconography. A representative Tibetan work. |
