Description

Polychrome; geometric design. flaring sides and tapering rim. Black and red-orange paint over a creamy-white slip. Alternating triangle with crosshatched step-fret pattern and lozenge shapes enclosed in the design in area between shoulder and rim. Elaborate decoration of triangles with lozenge shapes, bands with cross-hatching and checkerboard patterns in area below shoulder.
