Description | White cotton, two pieces finished without randa, heavily brocaded in geometric figures in red, orange-red, yellow, green, blue, black, purple, rose and white cotton and green silk. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 54 epi, 2 singles, Z twist, hand spun white cotton. Weft: 23 ppi, singles, Z twist, hand spun white cotton. Warp plain weave. Supplemental weft: single faced and 2 faced. 2 panels - 4 selveges each. Made on backstrap loom." |
