Description

Vermeule: Carnelian. (Modern Gold Ring Setting) Terminal figure of the elderly bearded Herakles completely enveloped in his lionskin. The design copies Graeco-Roman marble sculptures of the type which were popular in ancient gymnasia. Neo-Classic.
