Description

Egungun Costume. Constructed of various pieces of fabric sewn together to form lappets or panels. Lappets are trimmed with pointed ric rac or ribbon around borders. Thin pieces of metal (silver and gold tone) in the shape of circles, flowers, Maltese style cross and buttons are attached to front, back and side. Crocheted blue and tan striped rectangular-shaped panel at front center of costume.
