Description | Women's huipil on two panels of red cotton groundcloth Edges aer stitched closed. Narrow vertical and horizontal stripes of predominantly green, blue, and yellow are embroidered across the entire blouse. At center of blouse, small chevron and diamond designs in multicolored supplementary weft, in three rows with 9 designs in each row. V-neck cut in blouse at neck area with added thicker cotton section stitched around back of neck area. Similar added thicker cotton section stitched aroud two thirds of arm hole. Five chevron and diamond designs on top of shoulder section in multicolored supplementary weft. |
