Description

Pair of man's moccasins made of moosehide and likely deer skin, and decorated with porcupine quill, moosehair embroidery, porcupine guard hair, tin cones made of a tin-iron alloy, sinew, and silk ribbon. The moccasins were transferred to the Museum by Sarah Wistar Pennock [1840-1909], the wife of prominent Quaker William Miller [b. 1837 ] of Media, PA.
