Description | Shape: Tall, conical cup with slightly concave profile. Fabric: Fine, pink (5YR 7/4) clay with very dusky red (2.5YR 2.5/2) paint and decoration in added white (10YR 8/2) and added red (10R 5/6) paint. Decoration: Interior unpainted. Exterior painted, including resting surface. Added red paint: two wide, pendant concentric semicircular bands (or wavy lines?) on upper part of body; two wide horizontal bands on lower body. Added white paint: thin horizontal bands at bottom of body, with one thin band above and two thin bands below red horizontal bands; groups of three S's between both sets of red bands. Condition: lower part of vessel preserved. |
