Description | Rectangular with flaring sides and rounded bottom; perhaps a storage basket. Made by plaiting; loose; with spaces between materials, which are splints perhaps of spruce root(?). Edge is loosely bound with looped stitches. two handles on long side are twisted. Remnants of some sort of decoration in the form of extra splints dyed dark brown but no pattern is discernible. |
