Description | Rectangular leather pouch with double flap closure. Long leather shoulder strap decorated with 74 conical copper studs (plain). There are 2 decorated copper buttons on ends of strap. Pouch is decorated with 7 copper studs at the bottom as well as a large copper (or silver?) fluted ornament in center of pouch. A green turquoise is mounted on the large ornament. A leather thong is attached to the first flap, passes through a hole in the second flap and goes through two holes in the pouch for closing. Made in the late 19th cent. |
