Description | Point or arrowhead (石鏃). Long triangular point. Stem is narrow. Bifacially retouched. Brown and white translucent stone. 13171 is one of many stemmed points in the collection. Stemmed points or arrowheads appear in sites from the Late Paleolithic to Yayoi Period. Without context arrowheads such as these can only be assigned a broad date range. |
