Description

Carved king post for canoe house. Iconography: supernatural figure holding two sharks, low relief birds and fish top and behind. Stained black with white lime and red earth painted details. Title Pa-na-waiau "school of bonito". Carver: Simon Peter Reresimae with the help of Maemai of Natagara Village.
