Description

One of a set of large paintings in watercolor depicting archaeological finds and sites from Japan (13203-13218). Mounted Board No. XIII. Nine illustrations showing two metal helmets along with an example of body armor and two examples of haniwa. The top haniwa shows only head with a side, front, and back view. The bottom haniwa statue has a torso and includes a side, front, and back view as well.
