Description | Section of neck and inner shoulder. Hard buff clay. Surface covered with cream colored slip. Designs painted on it in black glaze. On inner shoulder; to left the head of an animal facing right; and at right the lower part of a wave pattern, missing crest outward. On neck, bottom to top; 3 wheel painted line; a zone of quirks, 2 wheel painted lines; a zone of hatched lozenges. |
