Description

Low foot and low, thick stem. Shallow receptacle with definite articulation between it and relatively broad rim. Rim has nearly vertical overhang. Glazed: edge of foot; band on underside of dish; overhang of rim; and glazed decoration of top surfaces. In center of top is a very sketchy female head facing left. On top of rim is a wave pattern with 5 crests. Intact save for bit of edge of foot. Stacking has evidently caused the details of the head and the area just outside the face profile to turn red.

Height 5.7 cm
Outside Diameter 13 cm
