Description | Dark blue plain weave cotton with alternating red and green pin stripes. Two breadths. Embroidered floral and geometric designs around neck and arm holes in white, magenta, yellow, blue and green. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp 66, single ply, Z twist, blue: 2 strand, red and green: 1 strand. Weft: 24, single ply, Z twist, 3 strands. Warp face - plain weave - embroidered yoke and arm openings. 2 pieces joined and elvedges. Made on a backstrap loom." |
