Description

Fine grained medum brown wood which has been coated with dark pigment, over this with thick less adhesive red pigment. Very short legs, wide at the sides and narrow in the front. Deep incision for spine. Zig-zag carving just above groin, rubbed with red pigment partially chipped away. Disproportionately long arms hanging at sides. Large protruding breasts. Oval eyes, upper lashes carved in by zig-zags. Nail head pupils, most of the right one is gone. Nostrils shaped like and parallel to protruding semicircle lips. Three incised lines in center of forehead. Two columns of four horizontal incised lines on each cheek. Tall headdress, narowing at top, carved all over with vertical ridges. Rather poor condition. Most of base and part of left hand missing. Base and headdress rather decayed.
