IN THE autumn the Museum opened a classroom on the upper floor of the New Wing for the accommodation of school classes coming to the Museum for instruction by the Docent Department. Talks, illustrated by lantern slides and arranged to correlate with their school work, are here given by appointment to school groups as an introduction to their subsequent visits to the galleries. During the fall term Miss Creaghead gave sixty-five lectures to three thousand four hundred and eight students; it is expected that engagements will be made for a still greater number during the coming spring term.
